Update: Lagos State NSCDC Commandant Mr Obafaiye Shem Suspended Over #MyOgaAtTheTop TV Gaffe

Several days after putting up a poor, hilarious show on Channels TV reports indicate that Mr Obafaiye Shem, the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) has been suspended.

His suspension comes after his now famous inability to correctly give the web address of the NSCDC on air amidst repeated clownish reference to his oga at the top.

According to sources, his suspension was ordered from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the interview, the Lagos Commandant couldn’t mention his organisation’s website name and the name of his boss.

Mr. Obafaiye Shem tried to cover up his ignorance of his organization’s website by saying that it would be revealed by his oga at the top.

He referred to his boss as my oga at the top hence the viral “My Oga at the top” comedy.

This video apart from its being a comic relief to the entire country and beyond this past week, it has sparked a T-Shirt campaign, a music video and a remix tape.
