FORMER Defence Minister, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma has lamented the high rate of unemployment, which he said is responsible for the worrisome security situation.

Danjuma spoke in Abeokuta Wednesday at the 2nd graduation ceremony of the “Youth Centre for Industrial Training”, Abeokuta, a multi-million naira centre set up by the retired Primate of the Anglican Church, Most Rev. Peter Akinola, under the “Peter Akinola Foundation (PAF)” to train unemployed youths to acquire skills in various vocations.

In his support for the centre, Danjuma donated N500 million, pledging to donate N100 million yearly.
