Upside Aviation appoints Adeniji as CEO

Upside Aviation Limited, a new entrant into the Nigerian aviation services industry, has announced the appointment of Mr. Babatunde Adeniji as its new chief executive officer.

The company disclosed this in a statement, which was made available to our correspondent on Tuesday.

According to the company, Adeniji is an airline and aviation executive with over 15 years’ experience in sales, customer services and ground operations, working in both passenger and cargo departments of commercial airlines and airport management.

It explained that Adeniji got into the aviation industry in 1996 as a traffic and operations officer with ADC Airlines Plc, from where he moved to KLM Air France, rising to the position of acting Service Manager of a start-up station in KLM Air France in Abuja, after a stint in Lagos.

He was also said to have served in start-up operations as the Manager, Lagos Hub, Virgin Nigeria Airways, before heading the airline’s ground operations.
